On Thursday, February 17, Allan Wolf will bring his unique skills to Sweet One O One in downtown Greenville. “Allan is a talented poet, award-winning author, dynamic performer, and dedicated educator,” explained Keith Rawlins, Artistic Director of Darke County Center for the Arts, which is presenting the Allen Wolf as part of their informal Coffeehouse Series. ”He’s an actor, a storyteller, and a founding member of The Dead Poets, a band that transforms poetry into toe-tapping tunes. And Sweet One O One is the perfect venue for this one-of-a-kind, not-to-be missed performance,” Rawlins stated. The show starts at 7 p.m.

DCCA’s Coffeehouse Series presents high quality performing artists in a comfortable, social atmosphere where food and drink can be enjoyed along with the performance. Steve and Eileen Litchfield, Tom and Julie Graber, and Rodney Oda are sponsors for the series; DCCA also receives funding from Harry D. and Esther Stephens Memorial, Lydia E. Schaurer Memorial Trust Fund, and Ketrow Foundation. In addition, the Ohio Arts Council helps fund Darke County Center for the Arts with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence, and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.

Tickets to the Coffeehouse performance of stories, sonnets, and songs by Allan Wolf are $10, and can be reserved by contacting DCCA at 937-547-0908 or dcca@centerforarts.net or purchased at DCCA’s office in the Greenville Public Library. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Allan Wolf will also perform at local high schools February 15 through 18; those performances are free and open to the public. Contact DCCA for specific times, which are coordinated with schools’ schedules.
