>BEAR’S MILL CHRISTMAS PREVIEW NOVEMBER 20-21

>

The Friends of Bear’s Mill will be holding their traditional Christmas Preview on Saturday, November 20 and Sunday, November 21. The Mill Store will be dressed in holiday attire with many new temptations for decorating and gift giving.
The emphasis of the Mill Store is gourmet, regional and USA handmade items with unique gift ideas for both men and women. Special grab-bag discounts will be available upon entering the Mill during this special event.
On display in the art gallery will be November artist Lesley Walton’s graphite portraits. Because Lesley’s work is primarily portraiture, she may be commissioned for personalized portraits which can be done by using photographs. The Friends of Bear’s Mill non-profit organization will receive a commission on any orders taken while the exhibit is in place.

Bear’s Mill potters Julie Clark, Rita Wiley and Loretta Wray are introducing a new line of functional stoneware pottery created specifically for Bear’s Mill. Each piece will bare an impressed symbol that represents the windows of the Mill. The exclusive line will be available at the Mill on a regular basis either in stock or by order. Some of the pieces included in this special line are mixing bowls, bread bakers, pie dishes, baking dishes, juice and syrup pitchers, serving bowls, mugs and honey jars.

Hours for the Christmas Preview are 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday. Bear’s Mill is located at 6450 Arcanum-Bear’s Mill Road, about 5 miles east of Greenville. The historic Darke County landmark is operated by the Friends of Bear’s Mill, a non-profit organization. For more information, contact Bear’s Mill at 937-548-5112 or on the web at www.bearsmill.com.
