>Packed house for Kasich event in Greenville

>There should be more photos coming, but here’s one with spectators spilling out on the sidewalk and State Auditor Mary Taylor in the foreground warming up the crowd.

    >Goodnight Ted! Take John Boehner with you.

    >It is very obvious that the state fire marshal's occupancy rules did not apply to this gathering. I wonder why.

    >Looks like the Maid-rite on a Saturday night.

    >Jim (S?) there was a special rule that only applies to conservatives. Saw you there (breaking the law?) but thought you had converted at last.

    >Congrats dj looks as though you had a great turnout, couldn't make it, home duties called didn't get done with those until almost 8:30 pm. But am really glad to see the enthusiasm amoungst the folks that were there. Pony rider

    >Well, Jim, do you think these people were forced into the room. Looks like all consenting adults to me. I don't know the rules for standing room only, but the last council meeting I was at they made the overflow leave the room and stand in the hall, but some of them stood blocking the door way plus the hall. That didn't accomplish much except maybe say we kept so many out of the room. Who's to say? Life happens… get over it!

    >So long Dems

  8. #8 by Jim Surber on October 20, 2010 - 7:34 pm

    >Not my comment about occupancy. But yes, I was there. No conversion as of yet.

    >and yes even Darke County can be bought with monies from other countries. I wonder just how many of these folks take the time to fact check anything this gentleman and others spews… he is a very misleading wall street political pro, so him and Boehner are completely bought and paid for or do you even care? If you care look it up, who is buying your votes, or their offices? Either way if you don't look it's you who has to look in that mirror. If you do and still want them in, at least you do it informed.

    >Man, the lefties are worried, hence all their trolling on this site. Then again if I was about to lose like they are, I would be too.

    >Hmm…two years ago, you all were screaming "Hell no, Bush has to GO!" Now its, them Da** democrats…when are you ALL going to stop looking down the end of your noses and realize we dug our own ditch on this sh** economy. It has been our own "give us the world while we do nothing" attitudes which created this situation. Your own over extended credit, relentless need for gas guzzling SUV's, more is better trying to keep up with the Jones created your present turmoil. All this while lazy unionized labor did nothing while we n.f.t.a.'ed out our own products, and set ourselves up the river. You over extended yourselves in a housing market which looked to get FAT off your own stupidity and greed for homes well beyond your credit and mortgage abilities. And to quote Britney Spears "Opps, I did it again…" with all our boo-whooing about Government spending and tax hikes. It doesn't take more smarts than your average blonde pop-tart to figure out that it was THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, average joe who dug this hole.So get your heads out of your arses and realize…YOU SCREWED YOURSELVES!

    >12:35… So we should all drive crapbox econo cars and live in third world conditions to be like the rest of the world? Tell me, does it get hard carrying that big chip around on your shoulder all the time?

  13. #13 by Jim Surber on October 23, 2010 - 10:25 am

    >Mr. Anonymous of 12:35 PM: Bravo! You have put the blame where it belongs.

  14. #14 by Anonymous on October 23, 2010 - 2:44 pm

    >9:18, 12:35 is right. And, you're misstating his point. It's not a chip. It's the truth. No matter who wins this fall, if you're looking for them to solve your problems, you're in trouble. People need to save more and spend less. They need to realize that they're not entitled to things and that lottery tickets and "get rich quick schemes" are illusions. Discipline, sacrifice, education and hard work are the recipe for long term success. It's simple but not easy. If people understood that, they're personal lives and our country would be better off. 12:35, good for you.

    >9:18 It's quite easy to carry the chip actually…I used some good old, American ingenuity and some recycled hemp to make a handy bag to put it in. Works wonders… $4.00/gal Petro in a 10 mpg Hummer, you do the math?
