Chainreaction Films, a film company owned by Greenville High School Senior Kent Holmes, will be presenting A Night of Chainreaction Films at Memorial Hall on Friday October 22nd from 7:30PM to 9:00PM. Chainreaction Films was started by Kent Holmes when he was in 5th grade and still is producing films to this day. The film company has produced numerous skits and comedies, placing at 48 Hour Film Festivals and local contests. All the actors and actresses are Greenville natives, and the locations are local as well.
If you want a chance to laugh, there’s not a better place then A Night of Chainreaction Films. The night will be filled with dozens of short skits and comedies filmed and edited in Greenville by native Kent Holmes. They will be presenting over 45 minutes of new, never before seen, material that has been produced over the summer, along with another 45 minutes of recently done classics that will leave your funny bone hurting. Some of the skits that will be shown will be: Grandma Force; the superhero adventures of Grandma, The Ten New Commandments; a modern set of commandments for modern society, The Immigration Office; spoof of when two aliens land on Earth and into an immigration office, Hobo John and Hobo Rick’s Workshop; when two hobos own a PBS show, and many many more. Along with skits are music videos with homemade raps, commercials, and raffles. All films are rated PG-13 for language.
