    >No new field at the new school. OSFC will not fund athletic fields because they aren’t considered an academic space. A field would have had to be funded 100% locally. Before the levy passed, a group called Friends of Hole Field initiated a phased $600,000+ renovation to the field, buildings, lights, and bleachers. Having been well under way and with lots of donations already coming in, it wouldn’t have made sense to ask the tax payers to build a new stadium (over $1 million). The Friends have nearly completed their master plan, with only bleachers and new press box to go.The only sports related facilities at the new school are two gyms and a training room. The district will retain the old high school property and part of the existing building – to include the gym. The rest of the building will be demolished, except for one classroom wing which will be converted into offices for the board of education staff. There are already baseball fields, a track with infield, and an athletic booster’s training building on site. Almost all of this has been built or renovated in the last decade, and it’s across the street from the new school, so it makes sense to keep it instead of building all new.

    >new foot ball field money can come from the proposed sale of un used high school grounds {after demolition} to poultry days.

    >A bus barn is being put up (eventually) in the area of the school that will be demo'd. The remaining section of the build we be used, as well as the athletic stuff. There won't be any unused grounds to sell.
